Michael is the face behind Specialist Contracting Services, bringing over three decades of hands-on experience in concrete surface preparation. Throughout his career he has specialised in shot blasting, surface grinding and milling for industrial and commercial projects across Western Australia, working on everything from small garage slabs to large warehouses, processing plants and refurbishment projects. Starting out "on the tools" and still actively involved on site today, Michael combines practical know-how with a strong focus on planning and preparation. He understands how critical a properly prepared substrate is to the life of any coating or floor system, and works closely with builders, flooring contractors and asset owners to ensure each project is ready on time and to specification. Clients value his ability to assess existing surfaces, recommend appropriate preparation methods, and solve problems such as failed coatings, uneven slabs and tight timeframes. Known for his practical problem-solving, attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time, Michael takes pride in preparing every surface to the standard needed for long-lasting coatings and finishes.
